These collages have been made using dried and pressed flower petals of many types with acrylic medium as the binder on heavy rag paper. You might spot rose, peony, clematis, tulip, and others. The petals attracted me as an alternative material to paper to use in collage, providing sublte tones and strong texture. Using them for figures is something of a challenge with all of that inherent texture, but the results are interesting.
